eXelon Gaming was founded in 2009 and as such is recognized as one of the most widely known gaming teams in the Northern Europe. The squads that represent eXelon Gaming have competed at events in countries as diverse as the Denmark, Sweden and Finland. eXelon Gaming is predominately based in the Finland. The team disbanded in August 2012.

History[edit]

eXelon Gaming formed a StarCraft 2 team in May 2010.

2011[edit]

  • May 1st, the eXelon Gaming's StarCraft 2 team is formed.
  • May 10th, Vesa "Welmu" Hovinen joins eXelon Gaming.
  • June 11th, Welmu places 4th at Nettiliiga Finals.
  • August 6th, Welmu wins Finnish National Championship and qualifies for World Cyber Games 2011.
  • November 15th, Fuzer joins eXelon Gaming. [1]
  • November 23rd, Welmu leaves eXelon Gaming and joins Team Empire. [2]

2012[edit]

  • April 28th, Fuzer leaves eXelon.[3]
  • August 29th, eXelon disbands.[4]
