He has competed in multiple tournaments such as the IEM Season VIII - New York qualifiers and 2013 MLG Spring Championship in which he lost 0-2 to Grubby.

Heart of the Swarm[edit]

Guitarcheese participated in the 2013 WCS Season 3 America qualifier in which he defeated Phog 2-0, Another 2-0, and PiG 2-1 before losing to Petraeus 1-2 in the finals.

On September 9, 2013, Guitarcheese defeated Axslav 2-0, and Amandil 2-1 in the IEM Season VIII - New York qualifiers before losing 0-2 to CatZ.

On October 17, 2013, Guitarcheese joined Deimos Esports.

In the Red Bull Battlegrounds: New York City Qualifiers, Guitarcheese defeated Cabertoss 2-0 and Apocalypse 2-1, before losing 1-2 to Scarlett.

Guitarcheese participated in the Deimos $75 Showmatch: Drunkenboi vs. Guitarcheese on November 13 in which he won 3-0 over his teammate Drunkenboi.

On December 15, Guitarcheese participated and took home $150 after winning the Retro Map Championship.

In the 2014 WCS America Challenger League Season 1 Qualifiers, Guitarcheese was knocked out of the semis of two of his qualifying brackets, losing 1-2 to both viOlet and JonSnow.[1]

On April 3–5, 2014, Guitarcheese participated in the No Dice Invitational 3. He went 4-0 in his first group, and then went on to the next group stages winner's match, beating Symbol 2-0. He fell just short of advancing to the final 4, losing 0-2 to Petraeus and 1-2 to Symbol in a rematch.

Guitarcheese qualified for Challenger League in the 2014 WCS AM Challenger League Season 2 Qualifier with a 10-0 map score, beating such names as DeeMo, JonSnow, and SaroVati.

Guitarcheese competed in MLG Anaheim 2014. He was knocked into the losers bracket in round 4 losing 0-2 to Alicia. In the losers bracket he fell out of the tournament losing 0-2 to Bomber in round 8, barely not making it into the Championship Bracket.

In the 2014 Season 3 WCS America Challenger League Season Qualifiers, Guitarcheese qualified for Challenger League including wins over JimRising, Kane, and Cowman. He would then advance into Premier League, with a 3-1 win over Suppy, where he eventually lost in the round of 32.

JonSnow and Guitarcheese go back awhile now. The two of them creating a very heated ZvZ rivalry that can arguably outline the race to be the best United States of American Zerg. They had never matched in an individual tournament until January of 2014 when they both participated in the 2014 WCS Season 1 America: American Qualifier where Guitarcheese was able to defeat JonSnow 2-0. It was only a few days later however when JonSnow was able to regain victory in the 2014 WCS Season 1 America: Ladder Wildcard Qualifier where he was able to win and gain revenge 2-1. The next time they would match in an individual tournament they would be teammates on the newly founded Solaris Gaming. They played in the 2014 WCS Season 2 America: American Qualifier where Guitarcheese took victory 2-0. In the MSI Beat IT 2014: American Qualifier JonSnow once again bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Guitarcheese. Again, only a few days later they both played eachother in the 2014 WCS Season 3 America: American Qualifier, with JonSnow being the first of the pair to take consecutive victories with a win 2-0. The long term victor of this rivalry may prove to be the top United States Zerg one day, and as of now, it seems very back and forth. Recently, Guitarcheese has left Solaris Gaming, and JonSnow has been named the captain, so once again they have changed from friend to foe.
