Qualifiers[edit]
- 4 Server Qualifiers allow 11 players to qualify to the main events Group Stage.
- 3 slots for the European server qualifier.
- 3 slots for the American server qualifier.
- 5 slots for the Korean server qualifiers (3 + 2).
- Each Server Qualifier consists of an Open Qualifier and a Final Qualifier.
- Open Qualifier
- These qualifiers are open to all participants, with no region restrictions.
- Single-elimination Bo3 until Round of 16.
- Deciding matches Bo5.
- Top 8 Advance to the Final Qualifier.
- Final Qualifier
- 8 players from the Open Qualifier and 8 seeded players.
- Double-elimination Bo3.
- Deciding matches Bo5.
- 3 Players qualify to the main events Group Stage. (Via the second Korean server qualifier only 2 Players.)

Round of 76[edit]
- Held offline at the ESL Arena.
- 64 players divided into 4 double-elimination brackets.
- Top 3 players from each bracket advance to main tournament group stage.
Round of 24[edit]
- Group Stage:
- Four groups of six players played out in round robin format.
- All matches are Bo3.
- First place in each group advances directly to the Quarterfinals.
- Second and third place in each group advance to the Round of 12.
- Ties are broken in the following order:
- Overall map difference
- Overall number of map wins
- Match wins amassed between the tied participants ('Mini-League')
- Map difference between the tied participants ('Mini-League')
- Number of map wins between the tied participants ('Mini-League')
- Tie breaker matches
- Coin toss
- Bracket:
- Single-elimination bracket of twelve players.
- Round of 12, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals are played in Bo5.
- Grand Finals is played in Bo7.

Prize Pool[edit]
The base prize pool is $250,000 USD.
In addition, it has been increased by a further $150,000 USD from ESL Pro Tour Prize Money boost, totaling $400,000 USD in 2020.[3]
The winner is awarded a Global Finals seed.

- In addition to the base prize money, players also receive $200 USD for each Bo3 win in the Group Stage.
- RagnaroK was awarded 2 Major Penalty Points and fined $250 USD for watching a stream for a few seconds[4] (without gaining an advantage) in the break of his match against uThermal. The $250 USD were spread among the other participants.
