IEM Season XI - Gyeonggi is the second StarCraft II event of IEM Season XI, as well as the first event of WCS Korea 2017, organized by ESL and held in Gyeonggi, South Korea.

Format[edit]

The top 4 WCS Korea players based on their placement in the 2016 WCS Global Finals are directly invited.

Qualifier[edit]

  • 3 qualifiers
  • Single-elimination, all matches best of 3
  • Top 4 advance to main tournament

Main Tournament[edit]

  • Group Stage:
    • Four groups of four players played out in dual tournament format.
    • Top 2 of each group advance to Bracket.
  • Bracket:
    • Single-elimination bracket of eight players.
    • Quarterfinals and Semifinals are played in best of 5.
    • Grand Finals is played in best of 7.
