About[edit]

The IPL Ye Olde Map Tournament is a one month long online tournament organized by IGN with a $2,000 prize pool. The tournament aims to be a "fun throwback to the early days of StarCraft II and may serve as a way for us to see how far the strategy and skill have progressed since the first time players set foot on Scrap Station or Kulas Ravine." The event will be broadcast by DoA & CatsPajamas.[1]

Format[edit]

  • Single-elimination
  • All rounds best-of-five
  • Each player can veto one map.

Map Pool[edit]

The tournament is designed to use old, removed maps from the beta and the early release version.
