Intel Extreme Masters Season X

The Intel Extreme Masters is ESL's flagship competition sponsored by Intel. IEM is a huge tournament spanning many months and individual competitions culminating in the Global Championships. The tenth season of IEM was announced on June 2, 2015.[1] While each year the games played changes, for this season, StarCraft II will be played alongside League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Events[edit]
Season X features a number of Global Challenges and a World Championship. Six IEM events have been announced for Season X, but, as of June 22, 2015, only IEM Shenzhen and IEM gamescom are confirmed to include a StarCraft II tournament.
Season X:
- IEM Shenzhen (2015-07-16 – 2015-07-20)
- IEM gamescom (2015-08-05 – 2015-08-09)
- IEM San Jose (2015-11-21 – 2015-11-22) - This event did not host a StarCraft II tournament
- IEM Cologne (2015-12-18 – 2015-12-20) - This event did not host a StarCraft II tournament
- IEM Taipei (2016-02-01 – 2016-02-02)
Finals / World Championship:
- World Championship at Katowice (2016-03-04 – 2016-03-06)
