Lee "JongMi" Jong Mi, also known as "maRie", is a former Brood War progamer from South Korea who became a professional StarCraft II player on November 15, 2011. She is currently retired.

Biography[edit]

maRie was one of the most highlighted female Brood War progamers, and was a member of hite SPARKYZ. She later began a commentator career with OGN.[1]

Wings of Liberty[edit]

maRie made her debut in StarCraft II in September 2011 by playing a few exhibition matches during China 1st 3D Electronic Games.

On November 15, Old Generations announced they had signed maRie, who switched her handle to JongMi in the process, and that she would attempt to qualify for 2012 GSL Season 1 Code A.[2] In May 2012, she became a free agent as Old Generations disbanded.[3]
