Andrey "LiveZerg" Guldyashov (born May 3, 1992) is a retired Russian Zerg player who last played for IsIMBA.
Biography[edit]
Wings of Liberty[edit]
LiveZerg competed in Electronic Sports World Cup 2011 European Qualifiers, where he was knocked out of the upper bracket by GoOdy. He then made his way through the lower bracket, eliminating Kas and GoOdy in the process, and ended at a qualifying place for the main event.
During the main event in Paris, LiveZerg managed to qualify for the playoffs at the expense of DarKFoRcE. Then, in round of 16, he faced the heavily-favored IdrA, whom he was able to eliminate by coming out on top in a tied series. He was pitted against Grubby in quarterfinals, and appeared to be under a lot of stress while conceding the first game with 160 supply. He used a very aggressive strategy in the second game, which wasn't successful, and subsequently dropped out of the tournament.
On May 10, 2012, LiveZerg participated in the ZOTAC Cup Monthly Final April 2012. He was able to take down HyuN and KrasS before he was stopped cold when he faced sYz and fell to the 3rd/4th place match. In the 3rd/4th place match, LiveZerg took down Seiplo with a score of 2-0 and took 3rd place.
Heart of the Swarm[edit]
On May 29, 2014, LiveZerg played in the round of 32 in 2014 WCS Season 2 Europe in group G together with MMA, ForGG and Dayshi, winning the first match against MMA 2–1. In the winners match, he faced off against ForGG, a match he won with a surprising 2–0. This earned him first place in the group and a spot in the round of 16.
