Ministry of Win
From Liquipedia StarCraft 2 Wiki
The Ministry of Win was a for-profit training house in Warsaw, Poland.
History[edit]
The project was announced December 2011 as the International Gaming House,[1] but after a few months, it was re-branded as the Ministry of Win, defined as "the first professional training facility for pro-gamers,"[2] and in May 2012 MoW house had its official opening in Warsaw, Poland, with the first two players training at the house being Cytoplasm and Wilko.[3]
The training house was a for-profit business, charging applicants a lump sum for accommodation, training facilities, a cook, gym, and a coach.
In September 2012, a $5,000 tournament called the Battle at Ministry of Win: Get Outplayed, was organized at the house for both the residents, and other players, with Nerchio coming on top and Sage as a runner up.
In August 2012, Ministry of Win announced a contest, that allowed 3 players to live in Ministry of Win for free for 3 months.[4] Eventually, three professionals: Ret, TitaN, and desRow won the contest.
Following February 2013, Ministry of Win closed its doors, announcing changes to be made. [5]
