Description[edit]

Choose the high ground and expand towards your opponent while battlling for control over the central area, dominated by destructible towers and rocks!

Four conjoined destructible towers in the center of the map share the same HP pool. Destroying any one tower greatly lengthens the rush distance in the short term and changes the shape of the future rush path by discouraging the use of the initial inhibitor zone path. Two Xel'naga towers provide players crucial vision of the two remaining push paths. As the game progresses and rocks are destroyed, the time to cross the map greatly decreases as the center paths become open and direct. The linear third is blocked by two rows of golden minerals (14 minerals per patch, 2 trips each). Once the aggressively located rich vespene gas base begins to mine out, the destructible obelisks behind its minerals can be destroyed to make the center even more open. The main base features a non-standard mineral layout containing five mineral fields with 1800 each and three mineral fields with 900 each. A lone rock tower is placed near the corner bases which can be used offensively or defensively. Creative players will find unorthodox ways to utilize the various mechanics present on the map.

Vs. Zerg[edit]

The minimum amount of buildings required to wall the natural is 3 Evolution Chambers without requiring a creep tumour.

Vs. Protoss[edit]

The natural can be walled off with 2 Gateways (or equivalent), leaving one space for a unit like a zealot to fit through. To completely wall without a gap, the minimum amount of buildings required are 2 Gateways and 1 Pylon. The reaper jump spot can be completely walled off with just 1 gateway.

Trivia[edit]

  • The map's name is a nod to the mapmaker Marras, known for naming her maps after metal songs, and is named after Scar Symmetry's album "Neohumanity".
  • In earlier stages the map name was "Neuromancer".
