Jeon "PhoeNix" Young Sik is a Zerg player from South Korea, who is currently retired.

Biography[edit]
PhoeNix is a South Korean Zerg player formerly of the team WeRRa, after WeRRa disbanded he spent a short period of time on Team MvP and later joined Team Team ReIGN. Shortly after it was announced that PhoeNix will be parting ways with Reign due to a contract disagreement.[1] In early September he moved to Germany and joined the team Type Gaming trying to find success in the European ladder and leagues.
July 30, 2012, PhoeNix left Type Gaming.[2]
He would later join Meet Your Makers alongside fellow Korean Dragon.[3] He was left teamless in April 2013, as the team disbanded.[4]
He joined Downfall Esports on May 10, 2013.[5]
Wings of Liberty[edit]
Phoenix qualified for the 2010 Sony Ericsson StarCraft II Open Season 2. Reaching the Round of 32 before losing to TSL Killer with a score of 0-2.
He tried to qualify for Code A again for GSL January 2012. After beating Jinro 2-1 in the semifinals, he had to face AcE in the finals. He lost 1-2 and so didn't qualify this season.
Outside Korea[edit]
He qualified for DreamHack Winter 2011 by finishing 1st in Online Qualifier #1. At the main tournament, he was knocked out right away, only winning one map, against Ukrainian Protoss player White-Ra.

- Played Human in Warcraft III under PhoeNix_EnNaNo or EnNaNo[aRi].
- One of the first South Koreans to have a stream on Justin.tv.
- The first South Korean to join a Foreign Team followed shortly after by Oz joining FXOpen e-Sports.
