Red Bull Battlegrounds: Austin was a 16-player invitational tournament that was held at The Moody Theater (the Austin City Limits Live venue) in Austin, Texas in May 2012.

Red Bull Battlegrounds: Austin was a 16-player invitational tournament that was held at Austin City Limits Live from 26–27 May 2012. The event was broadcast by Day[9], djWHEAT, Husky, and Rob Simpson.[1][2]

Format[edit]

  • Players begin in round robin groups of 4. Each round is best-of-three.
  • Top 2 in each group advance to a single-elimination playoff bracket.
  • Quarterfinals are best-of-three, semifinals and 3rd/4th place match are best-of-five, finals are best-of-seven.
