The Sennheiser Cup, hosted by the Electronic Sports League (ESL), is a sixteen week cup series culminating with the grand final held on January 7, 2012. The winner of a cup earns €50 and qualifies for the playoffs.

€1,800 are spread among the players, with €1,000 for the top 3 players, as seen below:

Converted USD prizes are based on the currency exchange rate (taken from xe.com) on January 14, 2012: 1 EUR = 1.26790 USD.
€800 were divided as €50 for each qualified player.
Format[edit]
Weekly Cups[edit]
- Up to 512 participants, Single-elimination, One Day Tournament
- Best of one rounds until the Semi-Finals, Best of Five Finals
- Winner qualifies to the playoffs and is awarded €50.
Playoffs[edit]
- 16 participants, winners of each Weekly Cup
- All rounds up to finals will be Best of Three and played online
- Finals were Best of five
