Sixjax Gaming was a team previously affiliated with the SC2 clan NrG but then been independent since March 31, 2011. During the initial announcement of the split with NrG, Sixjax Gaming made a statement revealing Artosis would be joining the organization as the new team captain. The team was financed by the bidding fee auction site Sixjax.com.
Timeline[edit]
- March 31, Sixjax drops its sponsorship for NrG. Four of NrG's best players, dde, ViBE, Mihai and CocoA, will still be sponsored under a new team, Sixjax Gaming.[1]
- March 31, Well known StarCraft commentator Artosis is signed, he will be leader and Captain for the new team.[2]
- April 10, Artosis recruits the Terran player MajOr.[3]
- April 16, Artosis recruits the Terran player Skew.[4]
- April 30, Sixjax Gaming is invited to participate in the Evil Geniuses Master's Cup Series V.[5]
- August 2, Skew announced on Twitter that he has left Sixjax Gaming.[6]
- September 4, Evoli announces the release of MajOr from Sixjax.[7]
- September 16, SixJax Gaming disbands. [8]
- November 10, NrG teams up with main sponsor Sixjax, the team changed its name to sixjax.NrG.[9]
