Kim "Sora" Jung Hoon is a South Korean StarCraft progamer. He plays as Protoss and is currently teamless.

Heart of the Swarm[edit]

On June 26, 2013, Sora tried to qualify for 2013 WCS Season 2 Korea OSL. In the 2013 WCS Season 2 Korea OSL Preliminaries he made it to the Finals of the Group F where he lost 2-1 to his teammate SonGDuri.

Sora played in the WCG 2013 Korea Qualifiers and was placed in Group 12, where he played and defeated JKS, FanTaSy, Shine, and Bomber, all 2-0. In the Round of 16 he played Curious whom he 2-0'ed as well. GuMiho was the next player to be taken down 2-0. In the Round of 4 he played Soulkey, and despite Sora's amazing run he was expected to lose to the WCS Korea 2013 Season 1 Champion. However, he would go on to 2-0 once again. Having already qualified for the Main WCG Tournament, he played PartinG in the finals of the qualifiers and finally fell with an 0-2 score. By the end of the qualifier tournament he had accumulated a 14-2 map score against multiple Premier League and Code S regulars.

In the main WCG tournament, Sora found himself in a group with MacSed, Xenocider, hendralisk, Cham, eNjiin, and Demigod. While he did drop maps to the former three, he advanced to the Round of 8 with a 6-0 match score. After easily dispatching of Dayshi 3-0, he once again faced PartinG, who had defeated him in the qualifiers. However, this time, Sora played extremely well against the Korean Protoss and dispatched him 3-1. This left only Soulkey in the finals, and while Sora had managed to defeat him in the qualifiers, Soulkey defeated him 3-1 and took the $30,000 prize.

Sora successfully qualified for the first season of 2014 Global StarCraft II League Season 1 after defeating Splendid, Barbie, and Brain. His Code A group was much more difficult, as it consisted of Hack, who had beaten him in the qualifiers, DongRaeGu, and Reality. While he didn't manage to defeat the former 2012 Global StarCraft II League Season 1 champion, Sora did beat Reality and get revenge on Hack, which put him in Code S. There, he lost to Soulkey again and Pet, which ended his GSL run.

Sora additionally played in Proleague for CJ Entus, debuting in their first match against KT Rolster. There, he took a very impressive game off of Flash with solid skytoss play. This would be his only win of the round, however. While he appeared on the roster semi-regularly, Sora finished with a mediocre 3-7 record.
