Overview

Team ALTERNATE, also known as ALTERNATE aTTaX is a German eSports team established in May 2003. The team started out as a Counter-Strike team, but eventually expanded into other games including FIFA, Need for Speed and WarCraft III, housing players such as DeMusliM and XlorD which would also become well known in the StarCraft II scene.

In May 2010, ALTERNATE recruited TaKe as team manager to head its new StarCraft II division, consisting of Socke, Darkforce and Mardow.

Following the departure of their last player ShoWTimE on April 30, 2015, Team Alternate declared that their StarCraft II section was closed with no plan to recruit new players.

• January 5th, aTn parts with AReS, KnowMe, Lambo and kauP, leaving ShoWTimE as the sole member on the team.
• April 30th, ShoWTimE parts way with aTn, leaving the team's roster empty.
