Matchup categorization[edit]

I'm still not satisfied with the matchup categorization. It only works correctly if you give only exactly one matchup to the template, e.g. "matchups=ZvZ" will put the arcticle into the ZvZ category, but "machtups=ZvZ, ZvP" will neither put it into the ZvZ, nor in the ZvP category. I can't figure out a way to split the matchups string to it's components to compare each one of them without extra extensions. Someone else got any ideas? --Nonymus 14:27, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

There's two options that I can think of;
  • Laboriously and inelegantly expand this section;

  #switch:{{{matchups}}}
  |ZvZ=[[Category:ZvZ_Builds]]
  |ZvT=[[Category:ZvT_Builds]]
  |ZvP=[[Category:ZvP_Builds]]
  |TvZ=[[Category:TvZ_Builds]]
  |TvT=[[Category:TvT_Builds]]
  |TvP=[[Category:TvP_Builds]]
  |PvZ=[[Category:PvZ_Builds]]
  |PvT=[[Category:PvT_Builds]]
  |PvP=[[Category:PvP_Builds]]

  • Or add string templates (ie str_find) from wikipedia to liquipedia and write that switch statement a little differently. --BlueNovember (talk contribs) 20:58, 31 October 2011 (KST)
Huzzah. I have performed magic. Problem should now be resolved. (Thanks to wikipedia for Template:Str_find) --BlueNovember (talk contribs) 21:50, 31 October 2011 (KST)

"Name"[edit]

Are there any cases where the "name" param should be different from {{PAGENAME}}? It looks wrong that 2 Base Offensive Nydus has an infobox called "Two Hatchery Opening into Hydralisk Tech and Nydus Worm Timing". I think the best solution is to have an empty "name" param use pagename as default, but accept an override. I'll change it to that. (After looking, it seems there are a few cases where the template is used in Userpage space, so best not break that). --BlueNovember (talk contribs) 20:25, 31 October 2011 (KST)
