The BCON Clash #2 is a tournament organized by BarCraft Connect, the European BarCraft network.

The idea behind the BCON Clash is to let the local barcraft communities compete against each other in Starcraft 2. Every barcraft holds a local qualifier, this time one for diamond to gm players and one for bronze to platin players. One player advances out of the qualifiers to participate in the BCON CLASH.

Format[edit]

  • Group Stage :
    • Ro16 stage: 4 groups of 4 players each.
    • Best of 3 matches. Top two of each group will advance to the bracket.
  • Playoffs :
    • Quarterfinals will be double-elimination, best of 3.
    • Semifinals and Grandfinal will be best of 5.

Prize Pool[edit]

500 EUR are divided among participants as follows: The 1st and 2nd place also receive a spot each in the ASUS ROG NorthCon 2013

Converted USD prizes are based on the currency exchange rate (taken from xe.com) on November 23, 2013: 1 EUR = 1.35567 USD.

Qualifiers[edit]

Every participating BarCraft had its own qualifiers, the winner then participated in this cup.

* To fill a 16 player grid one more player was needed, a aligulac ranking of all second place players was created and liquid.Ret achieved the highest ranking, therefore he was awarded the sixteenth spot

** Only Hurtiger signed up for the Ludwigshafen qualifier, so he automatically qualified
