Theodor "Theo" Mikkelsen is a Protoss player from Denmark who is currently teamless.

Theo has a professional record in multiple eSports genres, first being a semi-professional Counter-Strike 1.6 player from 2009-2011, then playing StarCraft II professionally. He was in/out of teams with players such as Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth and Finn "karrigan" Andersen, who currently are CS:GO world class players. In 2011, he beat the Danish two-year world champion team, mTw, after substituting for Karrigan who had connection issues. [1]. After being behind 0-1 in maps, Theo joined in as the in-game caller/team leader to turn the tides. When CS:GO was about to hit the market, Theo decided to switch to StarCraft II Wings of Liberty at its peak in popularity as his new primary esport. From there, Theo quickly climbed in ranks.

Shortly after Johan "NaNiWa" Luchessi announced that he had been practicing with Theo[2], you would often see them both hang out together as friends alongside Rickard "SortOf" Bergman and Stefan "MorroW" Andersson on streams and talk strategy, occasionally hosting tournaments and showmatches together. Their most recent and biggest was the "How well do you know StarCraft!?"[3], where professional player identities were hidden and the viewers would have to guess player identities post-match.

Theo also has a brother, Sebastian Worm, a professional, high-stakes poker player from Denmark.[4] He is known for his heads-up feats against the Swedish superstar, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom. [5] [6] When Theo is not in the US, he and his brother live and play poker together.

After getting recognized on the scene as a respectable player, he engaged actively in the community, talking about balance and design. In 2016, he joined up with the video game company "SunSpear Games"[7] as a balance designer. A game development company with focus on eSports RTS, including developers from RaZe and StarBow.

Wings of Liberty[edit]

He started playing in last season of WoL and managed to reach Diamond league.[Citation needed]

Heart of the Swarm[edit]

After three seasons of total playtime, Theo reached the Grandmaster league on the European server. His highest ever rank to end a season with was 18. During this time, Theo was known for playing very unorthodox macro styles. You would often see him play only skytoss versus Zerg and Chargelot/Phoenix versus Terran.

He participated in the Season 2 WCS Challenger qualifier, getting to the very final qualification round before getting knocked out by MarineLorD[8]

Legacy of the Void[edit]

He is currently playing the LotV at top Grandmaster level. He often participates in balance discussions, including "The Patch", a talkshow hosted by CatZ about the design and balance status of Legacy oft he Void. In mid-May 2016, it was announced that after nearly two years on Invasion eSport he had left the team. Just a couple of days later on 6 June 2016, Theo joined ROOT Gaming.[9]
