Jimmy "ThisIsJimmy" Van Sise is an American Terran formerly on CheckSix Gaming.

Biography[edit]
ThisIsJimmy is a New York native and has been playing Starcraft since 1998.
A solid Terran player, ThisIsJimmy began playing StarCraft II in beta and was a familiar name in tournaments. On the 24th August 2010, he was picked up as a sponsored player by Check-Six.
Jimmy works full-time as a software developer.[1]
In Beta[edit]
During beta ThisIsJimmy was a regular fixture in the ITL, appearing in 4 of the events.
Wings of Liberty[edit]
ThisIsJimmy's first result in the StarCraft II launch, was coming in 3rd/4th at the IEM US Regular Season Cup #1 which gave him a spot in the IEM Group Stages and a chance to qualify for the IEM Season V - American Championships. He defeated Artosis in the event, before getting taken out by HuK in the semifinals.
