VT Gaming Open Series

The VT Gaming Open Series (VT Open or VTG Open) is a weekly tournament run by VT Gaming. Its primary sponsor is Justin.TV where the event is also shoutcasted. Starting from the sixth event, the event was also referred as the NationVoice Open.
It is a 128 person open tournament with up to 32 slots reserved for top players that enter the tournament. The tournament prize pool is $160 per week with $100 going to first, $40 to second and $20 to third.
The tournaments are broadcasted over the course of two days on Monday and Tuesday, starting at 7pm EST each day. The first day goes through the quarterfinals. The third place and finals are on the second day.
Format[edit]
VTG Open Series has the following format:
- 96 open slots.
- 32 selected slots that get first round byes.
- In the first two rounds it is best-of-one.
- In the subsequent rounds through the quarterfinals it is best-of-three.
- For the semifinals and third place and finals it is best-of-five.
