Chau "WinDraE" Long (born September 1, 1996) is a retired Vietnamese Zerg player.

Legacy of the Void[edit]


  • November 2015, he started to play Starcraft II and was in Silver League.


Band of Brothers[edit]

  • At the end of 2015, WinDraE was promoted into Platinum. He joined Band of Brothers as a newbie.
Vietnam Team League Season 1[edit]
  • WinDraE was promoted into Diamond with only half of a month
  • He had made a good result at newbie match, with a score of 6-0 before being eliminated by Heroes of Gods in the playoff.
Vietnam Team League Season 2[edit]
  • In the 2nd season, WinDraE was promoted to play the pro matches. And he was one of the standins of Evil Zerg. However, he had poor performances as he lost all his matches. Evil Zerg was eliminated at the end of the Round Robin.
  • July 2016, WinDraE was promoted into Master League in Korea server.
Vietnam Starcraft Kings July and August[edit]
  • At the end of July 2016, WinDraE joined VSK as 19th challenger and he won the last two matches by using cheesy style and became the King.
  • However in the next month, he lost his first match against JusticeSimon.

Team Flames[edit]

  • Due to team conflict, he left the team and later joined Team Flames.
  • In November 2016, WinDraE achieved Master 1 on America server and Master 2 on Korea server, before the huge patch of 3.8.
Vietnam Single Tournament Week 4 2v2[edit]
  • Late October, MeomaikA signed up with WinDraE and joined as a team named Meo va cuc ta (MeomaikA and the feeder), and won the tournament with cheesy playstyle without a single lose.
SEA Open Team League Season 1[edit]
  • Team Flames decided to split into 2 team to attend to SEA Open Team League Season 1. MeomaikA became captain of Flames 1 while WinDraE became captain of Flames 2.


  • On January 17th, WinDraE left Team Flames due to family issues, therefore he retired completely in Vietnamese Scene.
  • However the next day, he found a lawyer for solving his family issues, announced he would come back to the scene and return to Flames.
  • On February 1st, WinDraE was promoted to Grandmaster in NA server. [1]
  • On June 3rd, WinDraE announced that he would left Flames because of several problems with the team, after earning 2 points against Team VK in Vietnam Team League Season 5.

1F Pro Gaming[edit]

  • On February 9th, It was confirmed that WinDraE joined 1F Pro Gaming. [2]
  • After 1 year of unsuccessful career, WinDraE decided to retire from playing hardcore and he returned to World of Warcraft, right after 1FPro's announcement of disband.

Heroes of God[edit]


  • WinDraE is known as the cheeser in sc2vietnam community.
  • His alternate ID, DeathWind, was created by his inspiration of DeathWing, a main antagonist of the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
  • At mid 2016, he defeated BBOY 2-0 at his showmatches with his lings roaches and ravagers style, causing stun to Vietnamese community.
  • After joining Team Flames, he changed his IGN from WinDSlash into WinDraE in memory of his draenei shaman character on World of Warcraft.
  • Despite being a Zerg player, he showed huge respect to ByuN, becoming his fan and twitch watcher.
  • His Terran is Diamond 2.
  • He revealed that he had struggled in Silver League (he was Protoss) in HotS before 2015. He played at Fall of 2014 and quitted at the end of 2014. In LotV, he changed into Zerg, came back and improved his skills from Silver to Master.
  • He confessed that the reason of retirement was loss of motivation after continuous dramas by himself. He also said that he continued to play but just for fun.
