[edit]The World Esports Championship Games 2014: South Korea Qualifier is an offline tournament taking place in Seoul, that will allow three players to qualify to the WECG 2014.
Format
[edit]Qualifiers: 14:00 KST September 15th & 13:00 KST September 16th
- Offline, held at TG e-Stadium in Sindorim
- 12 single-elimination brackets.
- Matches are best of three.
- Winner of each bracket advances to Korea National Finals.
Korea National Finals:
- Offline, held at NEXON Arena.
- Top 3 of World Cyber Games 2013 and winner of 2014 KeSPA Cup are invited.
- Group Stage: September 29th to October 7th
- Four groups of four players each played out in dual-tournament format.
- Matches are best of three.
- Top 2 of each group advance to playoffs.
- Playoffs: October 13th to October 21st
- Single-elimination bracket
- Matches are best of five.
- Top 3 are qualified for WECG 2014.
