Ascent is an American Team Fortress 2 team which was originally the core of the ex-eLevate roster formed in mid-2015 with the intention of playing at i55. The team won an ESEA-Invite title in Season 20 before eventually being acquired by North American organisation RONIN.
In late 2017 team leader Ma3laa reformed Ascent with his intentions of turning the brand into a fully-fledged eSports organisation acquiring North American and European rosters as well as branching into Quake Champions.

Timeline[edit]
- April 19th - The former roster of eLevate form Ascent.
- September 9th - TheFragile goes on an indefinite break and is replaced by phorofor. yomps joins at a stand-in. [1]
- July 12th - Ascent is reformed by Ma3laa and acquires the roster of EVL Gaming.[3]
- September 13th - corsa is moved to backup.[4]
- September 14th - paddie rejoins from the EVL Gaming roster.[5]
- October 7th - rando steps down due to real life commitments.[6]
- October 10th - showstopper joins.[7]
- November 20th - Ma3laa steps down to focus on growing Ascent.[8]
- November 21st - sandblast joins. [9]
- December 21st - yomps departs from the team.[10]
- January 8th - Ascent shuffles its roster, bringing in marmaloo, slemnish, and corsa.[11]
- March 16th - paddie steps down from the active roster. Ma3laa returns to the active squad in his place.[12]
- May 8th - Ascent shuffles its roster for ESEA Season 28, with corsa, slemnish, Ma3laa, and Bdonski leaving the active roster. In their place, highfive, yight, aim, and xaler join. [13]
- July 18th - Highfive leaves and is replaced by phlps. [14]
- September 2nd - Ascent acquires the recently reformed Street Hoops eSports roster. alec, ash, showstopper, sighguy, duwatna and cozen join the organisation. [15]
- September 19th - duwatna leaves and is replaced by marmadukeGRYLLS. [16]
- November 22nd - sighguy has been acquired by Velocity eSports.[17]
- January 8th - Ascent rewrites their roster with zilly being Ascent's new coach.[18]
- February 13th - xaler steps down from the roster, so Ascent picks up slemnish for Scout as yights moves to demoman.[19]
- April 16th - zilly steps down as coach to join corn100 for ESEA Season 31.[20]
- November 9th - Ascent disbands following the cancellation of the Beyond the Summit TF2 event.[21]
- April 27th - Ascent returns with a new roster for RGL Traditional Sixes Season 3.[22]
