Biography[edit]

Early Career[edit]

Alex started playing NES Tetris in the summer of 2020. Starting out as a hypertapper, he would quickly achieve the youngest maxouter world record at the time, at just 11 years old.

2021: Beginning success and CTWC debut[edit]

Alex was notable for being one of the fastest hypertappers in the world, achieving multiple level and lines world records. Throughout 2021, he consistently placed top 8 in Classic Tetris Monthly Masters Events and won his first CTL title. In CTWC 2021, Alex qualified 30th seed out of 64 players, landing him in Group E. In a close match, he was defeated by Benjy by just a few thousand points, ending his CTWC run. However, just a few months later, Alex won his first ever CTM Masters title in December 2021 after beating MylesTheGreat 3-0.

2022: Competition prowess[edit]

Right after December 2021, Alex won January 2022 after beating Sidnev 3-1, earning his first back-to-back titles. He would regularly place high in the next several months as well, getting 2nd place in February 2022 and September 2022. As a result, Alex became one of the members of the Big Six and was frequently mentioned as the favorite to win CTWC 2022. Under the alias "Thachy", Alex qualified 8th seed out of 48 players. In a surprising upset, Alex was swept by Sidnev 3-0 in the top 16, ending his CTWC run.

2023-Present: Elite[edit]

Alex qualified 2nd seed in CTM Mega Masters 2023. Alex defeated dogplayingtetris in the semifinals to make it to the finals, where he faced TommyNTG. The finals match would prove to be one of the best matches of all time, with both players rolling over the score in Game 4 and Game 5. Alex scored 1.7 million points in Game 5 to clinch the title in a reverse sweep. Since then, Alex has been a fierce competitor, winning CTL Season 20 and getting top 8 in CTWC 2023. After a disappointing, but still great semifinals placement during CTM Mega Masters 2024, he went on a roll, winning 2 consecutive Masters title in April and May 2024. He would then go on and get his first world championship title during CTWC 2024, beating dogplayingtetris in grand finals 3-2.
