Large flying unit that must consume magic to sustain its mana. Breaking free of the obsidian stone that holds them, these monstrous creatures roar into battle, swallowing magic to feed their insatiable hunger as they move between battles and rain destruction down upon their foes. Has Spell Immunity. Attacks land and air units.

This is an anti-caster unit designed to fight spellcasters. This unit is created by morphing an Obsidian Statue into a Destroyer. Once morphed, the Destroyer cannot turn back into an Obsidian Statue.

Destroyers start with 0 mana.

Destroyers cannot regenerate mana from a Fountain of Mana due to balance reasons.

1.17 Neutral Since we have corrected the splash damage bug with Destroyers, we have reverted Destroyers to their old 1.14 statistics. Destroyers now have mana regeneration of -3/sec (down from -6/sec), Orb of Annihilation now costs 25 mana down from 50 mana, and Devour Magic restores 75 mana per unit dispelled, down from 150. Note that Devour Magic no longer gives health or mana when a player devours friendly buffs.

Neutral Orb of Annihilation had a splash damage that was dealing full damage to all targets instead of full damage to the primary target, and reduced damage to nearby targets. This discrepancy has been fixed and the orb now deals damage identical to the functionality in Patch 1.14.
Nerf Destroyer negative mana regeneration increased to -6/sec from -3/sec.
Nerf Orb of Annihilation mana cost increased to 50 from 25.
1.15 Buff Devour Magic cooldown reduced to 7 seconds from 8 seconds.
1.10 Buff Devour Magic now heals 50 hit points per spell devoured, up from 25, and restores 75 mana, up from 50.
Neutral Flying Unit Improvements: We have turned off collision detection for flying units so that they can now easily pass through each other. This will allow air units to move about more smoothly than before. We have also added "separation behavior" so air units will break out of clusters once they reach a destination.
Neutral When "attack-moving", air units now prefer to attack other air units more often than previously.
Nerf Destroyer damage reduced to 19-21 from 21-24.
