Group stage[edit]

  • 7 qualifier winners are joined by the Doubi New Talent Cup October champion
  • they are paired into 2 groups to play double elimination as Bo3
  • top 2 of group stage advance to the round robin stage
  • 3rd place of two groups play a additional Bo3 match winners advance to the round robin stage

Bonuses (for the round robin stage only):

  • 4-0 win is awarded ¥ 1,000 (≃ $ 142)
  • Before each match, a player can activate Gold Coins
    • If the player wins with the Gold Coins on, the extra bonus is doubled
    • Each player can use Gold Coins only once
    • Tournament referee needs to be notified 24 hours in advance
    • If the player doesn't get any bonus while using Gold Coins, his opponent will get ¥ 1,000 (≃ $ 142)
  • Comeback from 0-2 to 4-2 is awarded ¥ 1,000 (≃ $ 142)
  • Comeback from 0-3 to 3-3 is awarded ¥ 1,000 (≃ $ 142)
  • Comeback from 0-3 to 4-3 is awarded ¥ 2,000 (≃ $ 284)
  • Only one comeback award can be won per match
