Chronology
The ESL Pro Tour 2020 is the first world wide Warcraft III pro tour. It's organized, sponsored and hosted by ESL in collaboration with DreamHack.
The DreamHack Open - Summer Season - Asia Closed Qualifier is the second (and last) step to qualify for DreamHack Open - Summer Season - Asia.
It's played online on NetEase servers.

Format[edit]
Qualifiers[edit]
Three qualifiers were hold, each offered 8 spots :
- Qualifier 1 take place on July 24th,
- Qualifier 2 take place on July 25th,
- Qualifier 3 take place on July 26th.
Group stage[edit]
The group stage is the only stage of the tournament and consists of a swiss-system :
- a player losing twice is eliminated,
- a player winning twice is qualify,
- all round 1 matches played as Bo3,
- round 2 matches :
- winners of round 1 face one another in Bo5,
- losers of round 1 face one another in Bo3,
- all round 3 matches played as Bo5.
Prize pool[edit]
The 12 best players qualify for the main event ; 13-18th ranked players get 15 EPT points.
