The ESL Meisterschaft is the German National Championship, formerly known as ESL Pro Series Germany. It's organized, sponsored and hosted by ESL. Only players residing in Germany or Austria are eligible to participate in this tournament, it does not belongs to the ESL Pro Tour.

Here is the 2021 - Season 1, played online on Europe Battle.net servers.

Format[edit]

Qualification[edit]

The last season top 8 is invited. A closed qualifier offered the 4 last spots. It features the 4 last players from last season and the top 4 from each open qualifier : # 1 & # 2.

Regular season[edit]

The regular season consits of 2 groups of 6 players each :

  • double round robin (a player faces each others twice),
  • all matches played as Bo3,
  • group winners go straight into playoffs semi-finals,
  • second and third ranked players qualify for playoffs.

Playoffs[edit]

6 players left in a single elimination bracket :

  • second and third ranked players face one another (cross group),
  • group winners start in semi-final, facing previous round winner.

  • the left player is considered as playing "Home",
  • the right player is considered as playing "Away".

The crosstable scoring MUST BE READ horizontally :

  • a row (a green case is a victory) shows "Home" results,
  • a column (a red case is a victory) shows "Away" results.
