The ESL Meisterschaft is the German National Championship, formerly known as ESL Pro Series Germany. It's organized, sponsored and hosted by ESL. Only players residing in Germany, Austria or Switzerland are eligible to participate in this tournament, it does not belongs to the ESL Pro Tour.
Here is the 2022 - Season 2, played online on W3Champions FLO servers.
Format[edit]
Qualification[edit]
The last season top 8 is invited.
A closed qualifier offered the 4 last spots, featuring:
- last season 9-12th ranked players,
- the top 2 from each open qualifier:
Regular season[edit]
The regular season consits of one group with 12 players:
- round robin (a player faces each others once),
- all matches played as Bo3,
- Winning a Bo3 2:0 grants 3 points
- Winning a Bo3 2:1 grants 2 points
- Losing a Bo3 1:2 grants 1 point
- Aftermath
- Top 1-2 qualify for the Playoffs winner bracket final
- Top 3-6 qualify for the Playoffs loser bracket round 1
- Rank 9-12 get relegated
