The Happy New Year Cup is an open minor cup organized by the Korean caster Saladin to celebrate the Chinese new year. It's sponsored by himself and the community.
It will be played on NetEase-servers.
Format[edit]
It's a one day cup, single elimination bracket :
- players must declare their fixed race,
- round of 16 are best-of-1 on Terenas Stand LV
- quarter finals are best-of-3 :
- first map : Swamped Temple,
- second map : Echo Isles,
- third map : Turtle Rock,
- semi-finals are best-of-3 :
- first map : Twisted Meadows,
- second map : Amazonia,
- third map : Last Refuge,
- final is best-of-5 :
- first map : Turtle Rock,
- second map : Echo Isles,
- third map : Twisted Meadows,
- fourth map : Last Refuge,
- fifth map : Swamped Temple.
Prize Pool[edit]
The winners receives 100,000 ₩ and 50% of the donations from the stream.
