The ESL Pro Tour 2020 is the first world wide Warcraft III pro tour. It's organized, sponsored and hosted by ESL in collaboration with DreamHack.
The Intel Extreme Masters 2021 Europe - Closed Qualifier is the second (and last) step to qualify for Intel Extreme Masters - 2021 - Europe ; the Europe regional final of the ESL Pro Tour 2020.
It's the alternate way and a great opportunity to get quote for this major event, since the others players had to compete throughout the 2020 EPT circuit to ensure their participation.
Format[edit]
The qualifier consists of a double elimination bracket:
- early rounds played as Bo3,
- qualification matches played as Bo5,
- top 3 qualify for the main event.
