Nostalgia Battlefield is a tournament organized and sponsored by Yuugames. 8 famous Warcraft III players are invited and 16 others granted a spot via qualifiers[1]. The tournament took place in Harbin (China) providing more than $ 45,000 to the Warcraft III scene. It's by far, the biggest prize money of the year for any type of event.
Team TH000 won, beating Team Grubby in final.

Format and dates[edit]
Qualifiers[edit]
From january 4th to 15th.
Overall, 91 players took part qualifiers. They are divided in 8 groups[2] :
- 11 or 12 players by group (some started in quarterfinal),
- groups are played as single elimination,
- all matches are best-of-three,
- top 2 qualifiy for main event.
Main event[edit]
From february 10th to 12th.
Each invited player pick two qualified players to form a team of three[2].
The 8 teams play a double elimination bracket :
- all matches are played as King of the Hill style tournament :
- winner of the map stays alive,
- loser of the map has to be replaced.
