The Pro Gamer League Summer 2016 is an invitational tournament with one of the biggest prize pool of the year but featuring only 6 players, among the in the warcraft III scene.
The korean player Moon won, beating TH000 in final.

Format and dates[edit]
Preliminary rounds[edit]
The preliminary rounds are played online, consist in three best-of-3. The winners advance to the playoffs, while the losers have to play the decider. The decider consists in best-of-1, one player follow the 3 winners into the playoffs.
Playoffs[edit]
The playoffs are played offline, in Wuhan (China) :
- 4 players left in a single elimination bracket,
- semi-finals and game for 3rd place are best-of-3,
- the final is best-of-5.
