The only opportunity for american players to compete at WGL 2018 Winter. Two tickets to Shanghai will go to the winner and the runner up. Players from Australia and New-Zealand can participate in this Qualifier.

Format[edit]
The tournament progress according to the following rules[1].
Qualifier[edit]
- 4 players are invited.
- 4 players qualify via American Open Qualifier.
Playoffs[edit]
Playoffs consist in a double elimination bracket within invited players face qualified players :
- early rounds, including WB-Final, are best-of-three,
- LB-Final and Grandfinal are best-of-five,
- semi-final losers are crossed into losers' round 2.
Conclusion[edit]
- the grandfinalists earn a spot for WGL 2018 Winter.
- the other players fail to qualifiy for this event.
