Format[edit]
The tournament progress according to the following rules[1].
Qualifier[edit]
- 4 players are invited.
- 4 players qualify via European Open Qualifier #1.
Playoffs[edit]
Playoffs consist in a double elimination bracket within invited players face qualified players :
- early rounds, including WB-Final, are best-of-three,
- LB-Final and Grandfinal are best-of-five,
- semi-final losers are crossed into losers' round 2.
Conclusion[edit]
- the grandfinalists earn a spot for WGL 2018 Winter.
- rank 3-6 are qualified for European Qualifier #2,
- rank 7-8 have to re-qualify for European Qualifier #2 via European Open Qualifier #2.
