Kelvin "Snutz" Nguyen is a professional Canadian World of Warcraft player currently not competing in the AWC.
Biography
[edit]Snutz began playing World of Warcraft in 2004. His premiere appearance on the professional arena scene was at the MLG Pro Circuit in 2010, where he won first place with his teammates Venruki, Reckful and Sodah under team name Complexity Red.[1][2] The team earned second place at the Arena World Championship that same year.[3]
Snutz returned to BlizzCon in 2011, playing for Skill Capped with Toes and Pookz. The team placed second to the Korean team OMG.[4] In the Grand Final, Skill Capped came back from losing the first two matches but ultimately lost in the deciding match playing Affliction Warlock, Frost Mage and Holy Paladin against OMG's Marksmanship Hunter, Unholy Death Knight and Holy Paladin on Dalaran Sewers.
In 2012, Snutz returned to BlizzCon again, playing alongside Venruki and Kollectiv for the independent team Bring It. The team won the Arena World Championship playing Mage, Warlock and Shaman, taking out the European team Yaspresents.[5] [6]
In 2014, Snutz reached the Arena World Championship with CDew and Venruki playing under the team name 3 Amigos. They placed equal third with Push Push.[7]
Snutz joined Method NA in 2016 with CDew, Smexxin, and Beanslayer. The team won the North American Regional Championship[8] and placed second at the 2016 Arena World Championship, losing to Splyce in the Grand Final.[9]
In 2017, Snutz joined Method Reborn and earned a place at the North American Finals, to be played in September.[10]
